When Arlechs jumps at the chance to leave Navernum with Botan, he finds himself caught up in another of the gods’ long running schemes. Deep in the jungles of Swelt, an ancient artefact is drawing those who crave control of its powers. Separated from his friends, Arlechs must find a way to survive, while ensuring the artefact does not fall into the wrong hands. If only he knew who to trust, he might have a chance.
